The state of the Black community in Cleveland has been affected by many issues over recent years.
Health and Wellness
PolicyBridge participates in the Health Improvement Partnership-Cuyahoga (HIP-Cuyahoga) to address the issues and conditions that cause and maintain health inequities and disparities in Cuyahoga County. These health inequities and disparities significantly impact the health status and outcomes for people of color living in the community. Working with our HIP-Cuyahoga partners from various sectors of the region, we are focused on improving population health, achieving well-being and equity for all the people in the county.
PolicyBridge will also monitor glaring health inequities and disparities in the county including infant mortality, lead poisoning, youth and adult violence and structural racism.
