The State of Black Cleveland
The state of the Black community in Cleveland has been affected by many issues over recent years.
EDUCATION
PolicyBridge participates in discussions regarding Public Education in the State of Ohio. Education is a major factor in the growth and development of the State and the Greater Cleveland Region. The current reality of partisan politics, bureaucracy, limited vision and a school funding model ruled unconstitutional by the State of Ohio Supreme Court all limit the potential of Ohio schools and hinder the educational attainment of Ohio’s children, particularly children of color.
Immediate emphasis is being placed on developing and distributing quality research information to decision makers that address the great challenges our region and the State of Ohio face in the area of education. PolicyBridge is attempting to influence those decision makers to draft and implement a response to the status quo situation.
