Health Improvement Partnership-Cuyahoga
PolicyBridge joined the Health Improvement Partnership-Cuyahoga (HIP-Cuyahoga) in 2013. HIP-Cuyahoga is a diverse and committed group of people who care about health. HIP-Cuyahoga is building opportunities for everyone in Cuyahoga County to be healthy because we believe everyone should have a fair chance to reach his or her fullest health potential.
The Center for Achieving Equity
PolicyBridge also in 2013 joined the Center for Achieving Equity team in Cuyahoga County. This team was formerly called the Cuyahoga County PLACEMATTERS team. The Center for Achieving Equity team is one of several “Collaboratives for Health Equity” across the country affiliated with the National Collaborative for Health Equity.
The Urban Action Collaborative
In 2017, PolicyBridge; the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs; and the Urban League of Greater Cleveland executed a Memorandum of Understanding forming the “Urban Action Collaborative” for the purpose of establishing and achieving the mission, purpose, scope and objectives relating to the revitalization of physical, economic and socially distressed urban communities in Northeast Ohio.
The Rid-All Green Partnership
In 2009, PolicyBridge authored a report titled “Rebuilding Blocks” that highlighted the foreclosure crisis and the plethora of vacant land that was anticipated as a result of projected mass demolitions. This report became the blueprint for the establishment of the Rid-All Urban Farm which converted a former illegal dumping site into a thriving 18-acre agricultural campus in the heart of Cleveland’s Lower Kinsman neighborhood.
